Yes, healthcare service sessions of the District Health Centre Express are referred based on clinical needs, and the maximum number of subsidized sessions of different Schemes are set.

Under the Scheme, the District Health Centre Express members can receive subsidised healthcare professional services for the targeted diseases/scope. Individual members may receive additional service(s) or treatments at their own expenses.

To facilitate continuity of care, all District Health Centre Express members and network service providers are required to enrol in the eHRSS. With prior consent from the member, clinical information will be shared with the service providers through eHRSS, on a need-to-know basis.

All Sai Kung DHCE members must be enrolled in eHRSS. It would be difficult for the DHCE to provide appropriate services for members who withdraw from eHRSS. Therefore, in such cases, their membership in the Scheme would have to be terminated as well.
